What would you do if celebrity Isabelle Daza turns up as your driver for the day?
During one episode of “In Real Life” series posted on Facebook, a very pregnant Isabelle borrowed the car of Kuya Domingo, a transport network vehicle services (TNVS) driver. Aside from this, the TV personality also asked for tips on scoring a five-star rating from the passengers. His advice is just simple: be courteous and begin the trip by greeting the passenger.
In the video, Isabelle was surprised to discover that she’ll be driving a manual transmission vehicle. “OMG! Stick shift siya,” she said.
While it posed an extra challenge to the socialite, Isabelle was still able to overcome the initial hurdle and adjust to the situation.
Kuya Domingo then proceeded to guide her through the app’s booking platform. According to him, once a booking comes in and you accept the job, the app will show the pick-up location. Isabelle discovered that you only have 16 seconds to decide in taking on the request.
Isabelle had to pick up her first passenger at a mall in Makati. When the rider started calling Isabelle, she panicked and exclaimed, “OMG, she’s calling me, she’s calling me!”
Isabelle finally took the call and explained that she’s already on her way, apologizing for the delay.
For the second time, the car stopped in the middle of the road because Isabelle wasn’t used to driving manual. Aside from this, the pressure of picking up her passenger on time led her to quip, “I hate my life right now!”
When the passenger boarded the car, Isabelle warmly greeted her with a “Hi!” This absolutely surprised the commuter, prompting her to exclaim, “Oh my god! What is going on?” During the ride, Isabelle and her passenger talked about her experience with using the app. Afterwards, the pair took selfies together.
Isabelle’s next passenger also had a similar astonished reaction upon seeing her as the driver. “No way! My gosh!” he sputtered as he exchanged pleasantries with the socialite. Once the ride was over, Isabelle joined the man and his companions for a group photo.
After the two trips, Isabelle was ready to call it a day. Likewise, she pondered on things she learned about the experience.
“I am just so happy that it turned out great because my two passengers they are pleasant to be with. Now, I’m definitely gonna be nicer to drivers. That was cool. I really like it and I hope you guys learned something,” she happily said.
