Andrea Brillantes has many of us enchanted and not just due to her good looks, mind you. From her stint on “Goin’ Bulilit” to her starring role on “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin,” this young star is on a roll with her career – all at the tender age of 14!
Being a celebrity entails a lot of first-time experiences, but did you know that Andrea’s great many firsts date back to when she was only four years old? For those who are curious about her earliest memories, ABS-CBN’s exclusive Kapamilya Chat has your back!
On Monday, they sat down with the teen actress to ask her about her many ‘firsts’ so that her thousands of fans would get to know her better.
According to Andrea Brillantes, the first thing she does in the morning is drink a glass of water (a great tip for those who want to have glowing skin like she does) before reaching for her phone. Apparently, the person she usually texts first is her sibling. Getting out of bed requires effort, so what better way than to shoot her sister a message for them to, say, play together?
Apparently, Andrea’s first crush was actor Paul Salas when she was around 4 years old, something that comes to her mind quite easily. Her first out of the country trip was to Malaysia, where she went with the rest of the “Goin’ Bulilit” cast. The children’s gag show is where she made her first TV appearance.
As for the first celebrity she worked with, the young star had a hard time remembering, had it not been for her mother who reminded her that it was in fact the legendary Cherry Pie Picache. Other than Kim Chiu and Anne Curtis, her ultimate showbiz idol is Angel Locsin circa the “Darna” days.
Her first time to shed tears wasn’t due to heartbreak but, as weird as it sounds, because of a bottle of soft drinks. According to the Kapamilya starlet, she recalls being three years old and so desperate to buy a Coke but her mother wouldn’t let her have one. However, it was something that Andrea has since been thankful for since she’s now used to not partaking in unhealthy drinks.
The horror flick “Silent Night” was the movie that scared her witless for the first time. The first thing she bought with her first salary was a small pink chair that she still uses today.
Andrea Brillantes mentioned that she got on the Pet Society bandwagon and it was that game that prompted her to create a Facebook account. Talking about it now, the actress said that it’s still her favorite game today.
What great insight into the life of teen star Andrea Brillantes! Celebrities are all the more interesting when they’re stripped of their glamor, wouldn’t you say?
