Mark Anthony Fernandez finally spoke up about the rumors that he impregnated two female cops while in jail in an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP).
We can recall that the ‘90s matinee idol was caught in possession of marijuana in 2016 and was released after over a year, just three days before Christmas. He also narrated that he prayed right after he was freed, and apologized to his mother, Alma Moreno, multiple times.
Nag-sorry ako [sa nanay ko], paulit-ulit, last year pa.
Mark shared how it was being behind bars for 15 months. He also confessed that he regrets what he did, stating that it was a lonesome experience.
“Yung buong stay ko doon, yung buong time ko doon was the lowest moment of my life. Pero come to think of it, kahit papaano, napatigas niya ako. Every day was a sad day.
Mark then disclosed that he was indeed a marijuana user, although he denied that it was for recreational purposes.
Karen Carpenter was the frontwoman of duo band Carpenters. She passed away due to anorexia in 1983 at 33.
Meanwhile, the ‘90s heartthrob was happy to mark a new beginning for his showbiz career, thanks to Vic del Rosario, Viva Entertainment founder, and Veronique del Rosario-Corpus, Viva Artists Agency president. Mark expressed his gratitude for his former flame, fellow ‘90s star Claudine Barretto, for making it possible for him to sign a lifetime contract.
